Paso 4: Programar el Nano
El negro 35 mm pipa de agua residuales contiene un Arduino Nano que está programado para leer los datos desde el codificador rotatorio de Bourns y compararlo con una tabla de verdad para dar la dirección del viento real en coordenadas polares (grados).
Cada 'bit' de datos es leído por separado y compilado en una 'cadena' de segmentos de datos 8 de largo. En esta etapa se parece un montón de ceros y unos, por ejemplo. 00100110.
Esta cadena se convierte a un entero.
El entero producido es comparado con 128 otros números enteros en una tabla de verdad para ver qué dirección realmente apunte el sensor.
En el transcurso de unos diez minutos, lecturas de codificador rotatorio se toman intervalos de 0,5 segundos y se hace un cálculo para encontrar cuál es el más común. No es aceptable tomar una lectura como dirección del viento no es realmente constante a menos que la velocidad del viento es insuficiente para mover el sensor. Una lectura final de 248 grados, por ejemplo, se extrapola de una gama masiva de cerca de 1200 números!
El entero modo de final se convierte en su propia frecuencia distinta utilizando el Arduino 'Tone' función y envía por el cable de 4 base, vía un resistor de 10K, como un pulso de onda cuadrada muy corto cada 0,5 segundos.
